FAQs

Are these the coolest stockings ever?

-YES!  Unequivocally, YES!

I am in LOVE with a set/collection, but it has too many/not enough stockings.  Can you help?

- Sure hope so!  If it is a larger set I can relist with a smaller number of stockings if that will make it work for you.  If there are not enough stockings I can often make more in the same style as long as I have the accent fabrics used.  Just reach out!  Call or text (940)235-6450.  E-mail christmascockpit@gmail.com

I want to order, but I need help figuring out what works best for my fam.  What can I do?

I can help!  Since I have personally made every stocking on this site, I know them.  Call or text - I'll give you options and together we can narrow down your style until we find your best fitting socks!

Do all of these cool pockets function?

-Yes, sometimes even the stuff that's not a pocket functions as a pocket.  I love pockets.  That's why flight suits are my jam.

Who makes these?

-I do!  I am a one-woman sweat shop, often wearing sweatpants all day...no judgment.

What's the turnaround time for custom orders?

-It's first-in, first-out.  Of course, it gets busier approaching the holidays, so get in touch early.  Factor in the time it takes to get your uniform to Wichita Falls, TX.  Assuming you're the only custom order, I can pickle up to 3 stockings a day.

I'm placing a custom order.  Could we   __________________ ?

-I don't know, but I'm willing to try.  Get in touch!

How do I store my stockings?

Fabric degrades when inside plastic.  Yes, we all store our Christmas decorations in giant plastic tubs (and your stockings can be as well), but to keep stockings looking their best, I suggest storing them inside your home.  I lay mine flat in the bottom of my sweater drawer.  My friend stores hers flat in the linen cabinet under a stack of sheets.

I love the name tags you have on your stockings!  How do I get name tags like those?

If you live in Wichita Falls, I got mine made at Lovely Threads - just outside of Shepard Air Force Base.

There are embroidery shops close to most bases.  If you do not have one that you frequent, I suggest you ask the snacko where they have their patches made or google "embroidery shops near me".  Sometimes the shops near a base can do the tags with your squadron mascot on them.

My name tags are done on red name tag blanks with white trim.  The lettering is white, 1" block lettering in all caps.  Don't forget to tell them you want Velcro!
